Bartending 101 to Impress Your Guests
Ideally, the bartender is not just serving drinks but sometimes can entertain guests through his amazing tricks. They can be illusionists and magicians. And if you are a regular bar-goer, then you might have already seen some of this skills that modern bartenders have. Although, here are six of the craziest bartending tricks that will especially blow your mind.
Handling the Bottles
When you are handling alcohol bottles, you have to be very careful. But this Russian bartender has other ideas. He is using his elbow to handle the bottles without missing any beats. Tricks like the Russian Elbow surely are more difficult than they look – believe me, we tried – but you can always start on basics, like the Flip to a Pour, so you can impress your guests a little bit.
Jager Bomb (Jager Train)
Twenty shots of Jager bomb. This is a very neat trick. You put Jäger shot glasses in between energy drinks. Then push from one side and make all the shots fall inside the glasses like a house of cards. This may look simple and easy, but this trick also requires practice to be perfect.
The Bruce Lee of Bartending
Imagine what would happen if Bruce Lee decided to bartend instead of martial arts. You would see bottles flying all over the place. Even though your drinks might arrive 5 minutes late, you could see some pretty cool tricks.
Let’s just hope that this Kung Fu-sensei bartending style never end in anyone getting one-punched-man in the nose – We’re sorry Johnny Manziel.
How to pour 15 Jagermeister shots at once – be efficient like a German. This trick is very similar to the Jager train but a little fancier and harder.
Rainbow shot must be of the most impressive party tricks. The trick is pretty straightforward. You just need to have pre-prepared shots, each of which is filled with a pinch of paint for Easter eggs. Then pour them quickly but yet being careful.
The Bartender Who Plays with Fire
Celebrity ‘cocktail artist’ Albert Trummer is known for having some tricks playing with flames. This flaming absinthe show is particularly impressive. But be careful, as he already has record of putting up a 30-foot bar on fire.
Just hope that the charges now pulled against the famous bartender don’t escalate out to be the next happy-hour bar felony scandal
